Two Titanium Models Add a Contemporary Touch with a Blend of Brown and Grey
Hublot introduces the new Classic Fusion Essential Taupe, available in two sizes: 42 mm and 45 mm. These online-exclusive models mark the fourth edition in Hublot’s Essential Monochrome series. While previous Essential editions were presented in grey, the brand now ventures into a new hue taupe.
Taupe, a sophisticated blend of grey and brown, offers a fresh take on the Classic Fusion aesthetic. While all past Essential models were rendered in grey, a notable exception is the special edition created in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi, which featured a brown dial celebrating the essence of Abu Dhabi.
The new collection features two elegant titanium models, fully brushed with polished bezels and the signature six H-shaped screws.
The 45 mm version is joined by a more compact 42 mm variant. The difference in thickness is minimal 10.95 mm for the larger model and 10.4 mm for the smaller one. Both cases are fitted with sapphire crystals on the front and back and offer water resistance up to 50 meters.
The highlight is the taupe dial, finished with a refined sunray pattern. Rhodium-plated applied indices and hands enhance the dial’s elegance, while a date window at 3 o’clock with a white background ensures easy legibility.
Inside, the 45 mm model is powered by the HUB1112 automatic movement, while the 42 mm version houses the HUB1710. Both calibers operate at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and deliver a power reserve of 48 hours.
Completing the look are integrated rubber straps in matching taupe, secured with stainless steel deployant buckles. Although the new Classic Fusion Essential Taupe models are not limited editions, they are available exclusively online. Each is priced at CHF 7,700, which is approximately AED 35,600.
