Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi, Exceptional Edition Inspired by the charming Desert of the Emirate
Hublot, in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, unveils the Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi Edition, a collection that pays tribute to the natural and cultural essence of Abu Dhabi. Inspired by the Emirate’s majestic dunes, the sand-colored accents of these timepieces echo the enduring beauty of the desert. The craftsmanship and materials draw from the historical significance of camels, embodying the strength and resilience deeply rooted in Abu Dhabi’s heritage. This seamless blend of tradition and innovation highlights Hublot’s creative ethos.
The collection introduces two remarkable models, both crafted in titanium. The first is a unisex 42 mm edition, while the second is a smaller ladies’ version, sized at 33 mm.
The ladies’ model features a bezel adorned with 36 white diamonds and is powered by a quartz movement. Both editions are limited to just 50 pieces each, emphasizing their exclusivity.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Abu Dhabi Edition 42 mm is housed in a polished and satin-brushed titanium case, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 10.4 mm in height. Its satin-brushed titanium bezel adds a refined touch, while the polished titanium case back is engraved with "SPECIAL EDITION XX/50," signifying its rarity as one of 50 pieces. With a water resistance of 50 meters, it is as practical as it is luxurious.
The timepiece showcases a captivating brown dial, referred to by the brand as “camel color,” adorned with a sunray finish that draws inspiration from Abu Dhabi’s sandy landscapes. Rhodium-plated applied indices and hands add a touch of elegance, while the date window at 3 o’clock features a black background for clear readability.
Inside, the watch is powered by Hublot’s self-winding HUB1110 movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph and offering a 42-hour power reserve. Completing the design is a sand-colored camel leather strap, secured with a stainless steel deployant buckle.
Both timepieces are exclusively available at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons boutiques. The 42 mm version is priced at CHF 8,400 (AED 34,900). The price of the smaller diamond-studded version is 9,800 Swiss francs, equivalent to 40,700 AED.
