Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition with a luxurious case & a bold sporty design
Roger Dubuis is renowned for its creativity and mechanical innovation, combining cutting-edge technical features with bold, expressive design. The Swiss brand’s approach has often been shaped by motorsport-inspired engineering, with ongoing collaborations with Lamborghini leading to numerous releases. In 2023, the brand released the Excalibur Spider Flyback Chronograph collection, and was later followed by a green-themed Lamborghini edition last year. This year, the collection grows further with the addition of a luxurious pink gold case.
The watch is housed in a 45 mm case crafted from a combination of 18K pink gold and black DLC-coated titanium. Measuring 17.13 mm in thickness, it commands a strong wrist presence, accentuated by skeletonized pushers. A sapphire crystal ensures durability and clear legibility, while the transparent caseback reveals the movement in all its detail, complete with a rotor shaped like a supercar wheel. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters.

The multi-layered skeleton dial features a black lower flange with pink gold-coated upper accents. Screw-like indexes are rhodium-plated and filled with luminescent material for optimal readability, while the hour and minute hands, crafted from white gold, coated in black PVD, and filled with Super-LumiNova, ensure visibility in low light. A balance wheel tilted at 12 degrees is positioned at 9 o’clock, with the tachymeter scale along the inner flange, twin barrels at 12 o’clock, a rotating minute counter at 3 o’clock, and a date window at 6 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the automatic calibre RD780, an integrated flyback chronograph movement developed entirely in-house. Beating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 72-hour power reserve, it incorporates notable innovations such as the Second Braking System (SBS), which stabilizes the chronograph seconds hand, and the 120° Rotating Minute Counter (RMC). Diamond-coated silicon escapement components improve anti-magnetic resistance and reduce friction. The movement’s finishing meets the prestigious Poinçon de Genève standard, with meticulous decoration applied to each component.
Completing the watch is a black rubber strap equipped with a Quick Release System for effortless interchangeability, secured by a triple-folding clasp combining pink gold and titanium blades. Limited to 88 pieces, a detail discreetly integrated into the tachymeter scale, the model’s price is available upon request.
