Founded in 1975, Maurice Lacroix has built its reputation on strong Swiss craftsmanship and bold horological experimentation. From becoming a Manufacture in 2007 to launching avant-garde models like the iconic AIKON, the brand has consistently balanced tradition with modernity. Now, marking its 50th anniversary, Maurice Lacroix introduces the 1975 Collection, a tribute to its heritage and journey.

The case is available in 36mm or 40mm diameters. It is made of stainless steel and measures a slim 10mm in thickness. It combines polished surfaces with brushed accents for a refined, multi-dimensional finish. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the screwed see-through caseback reveals the movement inside. Water resistance is rated at a practical 100 meters, making it ready for everyday wear.

The watch offers three distinct dial options: a blue or silver sunray-brushed finish, and a glossy black. Each version is adorned with applied, rhodium-plated indices and polished dauphine hands. The Maurice Lacroix logo is also applied, and a framed date window sits at 3 o’clock, keeping the overall design clean and legible.

The watch is powered by the automatic ML 115 caliber, based on the reliable Sellita SW200. It beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 38-hour power reserve. The movement is decorated with sandblasted finishes and a nickel rotor adorned with Côtes de Genève striping, visible through the exhibition caseback.

You can choose between a five-row stainless steel bracelet, brushed with polished center links, or a color-matched leather strap secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. Both options feature Maurice Lacroix’s Easy Strap Exchange system, allowing quick and tool-free changes to match any style.

The 1975 Automatic joins Maurice Lacroix’s permanent collection, with prices set at CHF 1,200, approximately AED 5,400 for models on a leather strap and CHF 1,300, approximately AED 5,900 for those on a stainless steel bracelet.
