Introducing Singer Reimagined Unveils the New Heritage Collection

Two releases with a restored Valjoux 236 movement

The Swiss brand Singer Reimagined, founded in 2017, takes its name from its founder Rob Dickinson’s other company, Singer Vehicle Design, renowned for restoring and modifying classic Porsche 911s. Building on that legacy, Singer applies the same philosophy of thoughtful revival to horology with its new Heritage Collection.

This release marks a strategic shift from the brand’s previous focus on modern movements, instead reinvigorating a classic 1970s chronograph caliber. The collection centers around the Valjoux 236, a movement restored using new components preserved for nearly five decades.

The watch blends vintage aesthetics with contemporary execution. Its 38.8mm stainless steel case strikes an ideal balance between classic proportions and modern wearability, with a slim 11.75mm thickness. The design pays homage to 1970s chronographs through distinctive elements like pump-style pushers and a bezel-free construction, where the domed sapphire crystal sits directly atop the case.

The dial is available in deep Piano Black or rich Empire Green, both featuring lacquer finishes. It includes applied hour markers, leaf-shaped hands, the brand’s signature fluted golden minute track, and a bi-compax layout.

Powering the watch is the restored Valjoux 236, now designated as Caliber SR2361. While retaining its original architecture, the movement receives extensive hand-finishing, including frosted bridges, and polished edges. Operating at 21,600 vph (3Hz), the manually wound movement offers a 48-hour power reserve.

The watch comes paired with a textured black or green leather strap and a simple pin buckle. Limited to just 100 pieces, it is priced at CHF 16,700, approximately AED 75,200.
