The New Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in Steel

This year has been an exciting one for Jaeger-LeCoultre, especially after our enlightening visit to the "Precision Pioneer" exhibition at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). The exhibition beautifully showcased the brand's rich history, spotlighting its contributions to the world of horology. One of the most captivating releases we encountered was the stunning Master Grande Tradition Caliber 948 World-Timer

But the excitement didn’t end there. Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to push the boundaries in 2024, introducing the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in steel. This follows the 18k pink gold model that debuted at Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2023, adding a fresh new chapter to the iconic Reverso lineup.

Introducing H. Moser & Cie. unveils the Retrograde Seconds watch from the Pioneer collection

Advanced automatic movement with dynamic retrograde seconds technology

H. Moser & Cie is one of the most prominent names in the world of luxury watchmaking. Founded in 1828 in Switzerland, the company is known for its timepieces that combine fine craftsmanship with minimalist design. H. Moser & Cie. has a great passion for detail and traditional techniques, ensuring that every watch produced is a distinctive complication. Now, the brand unveils the “Retrograde Seconds” watch from the Pioneer collection.

The watch features a stainless steel case with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, measuring 42.8 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm in height. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, offering both clarity and durability. Additionally, the case back, made from the same crystal and secured by eight screws, provides a view of the intricate movement inside. The case is designed to be water-resistant up to 120 meters and is equipped with a secure screw-down crown embossed with the M logo.

The dial showcases a deep blue hue that gradually transitions to black at the edges, accented by the Moser logo that stands out against the light positioned above the center of the hands. The lateral and upper edges are adorned with applied indexes topped with luminescent dots, while the indices at 5, 6, 7, o’clock have been replaced by a retrograde seconds indicator. This unique feature enables the hand to move across a 30-second scale, dynamically sweeping from left to right before snapping back to its original position. The hour and minute hands are elegantly shaped like leaves and are coated with Super-LumiNova.

The watch is powered by the HMC 250 calibre based on HMC 201 caliber, an in-house automatic movement boasting a 72-hour power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). This intricate mechanism incorporates a 30-second retrograde module developed by the esteemed Swiss manufacturer Agenhor SA. The HMC 250 features beautifully finished anthracite bridges adorned with Moser’s signature double stripes.

The watch comes with a blue rubber strap and is priced at CHF 19,900, which is equivalent to AED 87,560.
