The New Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in Steel

This year has been an exciting one for Jaeger-LeCoultre, especially after our enlightening visit to the "Precision Pioneer" exhibition at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). The exhibition beautifully showcased the brand's rich history, spotlighting its contributions to the world of horology. One of the most captivating releases we encountered was the stunning Master Grande Tradition Caliber 948 World-Timer

But the excitement didn’t end there. Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to push the boundaries in 2024, introducing the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in steel. This follows the 18k pink gold model that debuted at Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2023, adding a fresh new chapter to the iconic Reverso lineup.

Introducing Longines Launches New Trio to the Flagship Heritage Moonphase

Expanding the brand’s Moonphase with elegant and classic dial hues

The Longines Flagship collection was introduced in 1957, and it stands as one of the brand's best-selling timepieces, distinguished by its vintage aesthetic, which draws inspiration from Longines' historical models. Over the decades, the collection has maintained its elegance while embracing modern mechanics that ensure precise timekeeping. Following the addition of the Moonphase compilation last year, which enriched the collection with this historical complication, Longines has introduced an array of new releases, including the Year of the Dragon edition. Now, the brand continues to expand the collection with three stunning new watches featuring anthracite, Havana beige, and green dials.

The trio of new watches comes in a stainless steel case, featuring a blend of brushed and polished finishes. Measuring 38 mm in diameter and 12.40 mm in thickness, the case is fitted with sapphire crystals that have an anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring excellent visibility and durability. The emblem of the collection can be seen on the screw-down case back with a hand-painted enamel caravel on an 18-k gold medallion.

All three dials feature a refined sunray finish, with the anthracite version standing out thanks to its rose-gold-plated accents. In contrast, the green and Havana beige dials are accented with rhodium details. The hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility, while the moon phase and date indicator are elegantly positioned at 6 o'clock on each dial.

The watch is powered by the Calibre L899.5, an automatic movement based on the ETA A31.L91. It operates at 25,200 vph (3.5Hz) and offers a 72-hour power reserve. Each variant is paired with either a brown, anthracite, or black strap, with a stainless steel buckle, and is priced at EUR 3,400, equivalent to AED 13,750.
