Introducing Daniel Roth Releases the Extra Plat Rose Gold
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Following the yellow gold Souscription model, the Extra Plat now arrives in rose gold
The revival of Daniel Roth began with what is arguably one of the most beautifully designed watches, the Tourbillon Souscription, launched first in yellow gold and later in rose gold. This was followed by the second Souscription model, the Extra Plat, a time-only piece that distilled Roth’s signature aesthetics into an ultra-slim format. Initially released in yellow gold, it was only natural to anticipate a rose gold version, and now, it's here: the Daniel Roth Extra Plat Rose Gold.
Echoing the iconic heritage of the double-ellipse case, the watch retains the same design introduced with the Tourbillon, but with a slimmer profile, measuring just 7.7mm thick. Made of 5N rose gold, the case measures 38.6mm in length and 35.5mm in width. The redesigned lugs are more softly curved and slope gently downward.
The dial is crafted from solid white gold and adorned with a handcrafted guillochage en ligne motif. It is framed by a gold chapter ring and paired with black-coated stainless steel hands and black Roman numerals, providing a striking contrast to the warmth of the rose gold case.

Visible through the open caseback is the manual winding Calibre DR002, assembled at La Fabrique du Temps under the guidance of master watchmakers Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 65 hours. The movement is just 3.1mm thick, comprises 143 components, and features a newly developed bar click that provides satisfyingly crisp feedback during manual winding.
The watch is paired with a beige calfskin leather strap and produced in limited numbers. It is priced at CHF 49,000, approximately AED 216,800.
