Introducing H. Moser & Cie. Unveils Two Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow Models

The First Streamliner Edition to Combine a Skeleton Design with a Gem-Set Case

H. Moser & Cie. unveils a dazzling new chapter in its Streamliner collection with the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow watches. Available in 5N red gold or stainless steel, these timepieces embody a captivating blend of haute horlogerie and the refined artistry of gemsetting.

A rare venture into the world of precious stones for the brand, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow reflects H. Moser & Cie.’s commitment to using gemstones not as mere decoration, but as a means to emphasize the mechanical sophistication and minimalist elegance of its creations. In these latest models, the radiant sapphires serve to enhance the visual impact of the exposed movement, celebrating the harmony between technical mastery and aesthetic purity.

The case maintains the collection's signature cushion design, and even the same dimensions. The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton features the signature 40mm Art Deco-inspired case and integrated bracelet, crafted from stainless steel or red gold. With a height of 12.1mm, including the slightly domed sapphire crystal, and a screw-in crown adorned with an engraved M, the case middle features recessed and satin-finished forms on the sides, with alternating polished and brushed surfaces. The watch offers both practicality and elegance with a water-resistance rating of 120 meters.

Adorning the bezel of both cases are sixty baguette-cut sapphires. These stones are meticulously selected for their individual shape and color, forming a seamless rainbow gradation around the cushion-shaped case. The gemsetting technique employed is an invisible setting, a complex process requiring extreme precision from expert gemsetters. This method ensures that no metal is visible between the stones, allowing them to present an uninterrupted flow of color and light. The sapphires are arranged in a double gradation: one for the spectrum of rainbow hues and another for size, to perfectly follow the distinct contours of the Streamliner case.

The skeletonized dial, featuring gold-plated indices, includes three-dimensional hour and minute hands, made from two sections, with inserts of Globolight, an innovative ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova. Positioned at six o'clock, a one-minute flying tourbillon appears to float in the middle of a void.

As with the previous Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton editions, the movement utilized in this watch, the caliber HMC 814 is a modified iteration of the 804 found in previous Streamliner flying tourbillon models. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it provides a power reserve of 72 hours. This automatic HMC 814 skeleton movement is furnished with a double hairspring, meticulously crafted and developed internally by Precision Engineering AG, a sister company of H. Moser & Cie.

The integrated bracelet is elegantly arced to follow the line of the wrist. It comes in red gold or steel to match the case material. Highly complex in construction, this bracelet has extremely fluid lines based on organic forms and comes with a folding clasp with three blades. For the prices: Steel edition CHF 125,000, which is equivalent to 552,700 AED; Gold edition CHF 175,000, which is equivalent to 773,800 AED.
