The New Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in Steel

This year has been an exciting one for Jaeger-LeCoultre, especially after our enlightening visit to the "Precision Pioneer" exhibition at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). The exhibition beautifully showcased the brand's rich history, spotlighting its contributions to the world of horology. One of the most captivating releases we encountered was the stunning Master Grande Tradition Caliber 948 World-Timer

But the excitement didn’t end there. Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to push the boundaries in 2024, introducing the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in steel. This follows the 18k pink gold model that debuted at Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2023, adding a fresh new chapter to the iconic Reverso lineup.

Introducing Czapek Unveils New Antarctic Watch in Collaboration with GMT

GMT Milano Edition Exclusive to Italian Partner Stores

Czapek, is a prominent brand with a long history, founded in the 19th century. Known for its production of precision movements that it manufactures in-house, the Antarctic collection is one of its most important collections. Recently, the brand launched the "S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its agent in Southeast Asia. Now, the brand is unveiling a new edition in collaboration with GMT Great Masters of Time, the brand’s agent in Italy, the Antarctic GMT Milano Edition. First presented at Milan Watch Week and exclusive to the Italian agent’s boutique at Via della Spiga 25,

The watch comes in a 40.5mm stainless steel case that is 10.6mm thick and water resistant to 120 meters. Its design features polished and brushed finishes and a polished bezel. The screw-down crown is protected by guards on both ends, and the dial and movement are protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The dial features a gold (champagne) colored, grain-textured matte rough surface crafted by Swiss dial maker Metalem, complemented by a circular satin finish beneath the minute track on the edge, both elegantly plated in 4N gold. This standout design is enhanced by applied hour indices and central hands, all treated with Super-LumiNova for optimal visibility.

The watch is powered by the in-house SXH5 self-winding micro-rotor automatic movement. The movement showcases its intricate design through the caseback, revealing a micro-rotor, visible gear train, and elegantly skeletonized, sandblasted bridges. The original shapes of these bridges draw inspiration from 19th-century pocket watches. With a free-sprung balance wheel regulated by four adjustable gold weights, the SXH5 ensures superior precision. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, this caliber delivers a 60-hour power reserve.

It comes with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp, as well as a rubber strap. Limited to just 30 pieces, it can be pre-ordered exclusively at “GMT Great Masters of Time” in Milan for a price of CHF 22,000, which is equivalent to AED 96,800.
