Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing Chopard Unveils the L.U.C Heritage EHG Moon 122

A limited edition celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Geneva School of Watchmaking (EHG)

Chopard has maintained a close relationship with the Geneva School of Watchmaking (EHG) since 2004, notably supplying the movements used by students for their final-year timepieces. To honor two centuries of (EHG), Chopard has created a limited edition watch: the L.U.C Heritage EHG Moon 122. It features a newly developed movement inspired by the one used in the school’s program, paired with a moonphase.

The case is crafted in ethical rose gold, measuring 44mm in diameter and 12.7mm in thickness. Finely polished and brushed, and includes welded lugs. The sapphire caseback reveals the movement inside while ensuring 30 meters of water resistance.

The blue aventurine dial depicts the night sky with white constellation prints of the Northern Hemisphere. At 3 o’clock, a hand-hammered gold moon indicates the moon phase, while a golden globe (viewed from the North Pole) adorns the small seconds sub-dial. The globe’s oceans are rendered in blue lacquer, and the Dauphine hands are made of rose gold.

Powering the watch is the manual-winding L.U.C 63.04-L, an evolution of the caliber developed with EHG students, now enhanced with a moonphase complication. The movement showcases nickel silver bridges decorated with Côtes de Genèveperlage, and gilded edges. Beating at 21,600 vph (3Hz) with a 60-hour power reserve, it is COSC-certified and bears the Geneva Seal.

The watch comes with a blue calfskin leather strap featuring a nubuck texture, paired with a rose gold folding clasp. Limited to 20 pieces, it is priced at USD 90,300, approximately AED 369,600.
