A compact, Franco-Swiss made GMT with modern style
In 2009, longtime friends Alain Marhic and Joseph Chatel set out to create a watch brand. They enlisted the creative genius of Jérôme Mage, founder of the acclaimed eyewear brand Jacques Marie Mage, as the artistic force behind their vision. Drawing on Alain’s industry experience and Jérôme’s design expertise, they established March LA.B, a name inspired by the month of March, as it marks the birth month of Alain, his brothers, and their father. The "LA.B" acronym stands for Los Angeles and Biarritz, the two cities where the founders reside, symbolizing the brand's dual heritage.
Each March, the French brand unveils an exclusive timepiece to celebrate its anniversary. Three years ago, March LA.B introduced its Automatic collection, featuring La Joux-Perret G100 movements. This year’s release, the AM2 Slim GMT Titanium "Millesime March 2025," builds on last year’s titanium Millésime model but with a more compact size.
The watch features a Grade 5 titanium case with an anti-fingerprint treatment to preserve its polished facets. While it has a smaller 36mm diameter compared to the previous 39mm, the case is 12.5mm thick, 1mm more than its predecessor. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down crown at 4 o’clock and the closed caseback ensure 100 meters of water resistance.
March LA.B has designed a multi-layered dial with a matte grey guilloché center, a raised chapter ring with applied indices, and an outer two-tone 24-hour bezel, white for daytime hours and black for nighttime. The dial also features a date window at 6 o’clock, with the brand’s signature green “3” standing out, along with a green accent on the GMT hand. The hour and minute hands are coated with luminescent material for visibility in low-light conditions.

Powering the watch is the La Joux-Perret G110 automatic movement, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers an impressive 68-hour power reserve. The AM2 Slim GMT comes with an integrated titanium bracelet and is limited to just 133 pieces. It is priced at EUR 2,595, equivalent to AED 8,808.
