A trio of chronographs with a new, more compact size
Founded in 1777 by Abraham-Louis Perrelet, the Swiss watchmaker Perrelet is best known today for its signature Turbine collection, a modern interpretation of kinetic energy on the wrist. This year, the brand adds a chronograph to the concept with the new Turbine Chrono Neo, a trilogy of timepieces with central chronograph functionality and a more compact case size.
Shrinking from the previous 47mm dimensions to a more compact 42mm, the Turbine Chrono Neo embraces contemporary proportions. The case measures 16.34mm in thickness, and is crafted from Grade 2 titanium, featuring a mix of brushed and polished finishes, along with a black DLC-coated bezel that frames the dial and incorporates a tachymeter scale. Fluted grooves run along the case middle, while broad rectangular pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock enhance the sporty aesthetic. A DLC-coated screw-down crown, ensures water resistance of up to 50 metres.
As always, the spotlight remains on the 12-blade anodised aluminium turbine, which reacts to the movement of the wrist. As it spins, the turbine reveals flashes of colour from the lower dial—available in electric blue, grass green, or light grey. Each version uses the same colour for its chronograph indicators: a coloured arrow-tipped hand for the 60-minute counter and a longer hand with a matching tip for the chronograph seconds. The light grey version, however, switches things up slightly with red-tipped chronograph hands for added contrast.

Applied Arabic numerals and indices are treated with Super-LumiNova, matching the lume on the hour, minute, and chronograph minute hands. A date window is tucked neatly at 6 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the P-361 calibre, an automatic movement based on the Soprod version of the ETA 2892. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
Each watch comes fitted with a five-row titanium bracelet secured by a butterfly clasp. Perrelet also includes an additional rubber strap in a matching tone with each timepiece. The Turbine Chrono Neo will be available from September 2025, priced at CHF 5,900, approximately AED 26,600.
