Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A creative blend of sporty and classic aesthetics
Louis Erard holds deer of Swiss mechanical craftsmanship, and has a rich heritage that goes back to 1929. The brand’s philosophy centers on offering a personal and authentic experience to its customers, as it is known for striking a perfect balance between quality and accessibility. Recently, Louis Erard rebranded its iconic La Sportive collection as the "2300," in honor of its roots in La Chaux-de-Fonds, whose postal code is 2300 and where Louis Erard is based. This chronograph collection is designed for those who appreciate a blend of sporty and classic styles, all elevated by Louis Erard's signature elegance. You can't go wrong when choosing one of their chronographs.
The first release of the rebranded collection was a trio of sporty and colorful chronographs in grade 5 titanium that was released two weeks ago, and today we take a closer look at those releases. The first thing you can notice upon wearing the watch is how comfortable it feels and how beautiful it looks, even better in real life. The 44mm case measures 15mm in thickness, and features a tachymeter bezel with black ceramic insert. The dial is protected by a glassbox sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and you can see the movement through the sapphire crystal caseback.
The trio of chronographs is available in three striking color options: black with a rainbow gradient minute track, khaki-orange, as shown in the picture above, and a third blue variant that you can learn more about in this article. The dial showcases vertical sub-dials, along with day and date windows at 3 o’clock, and a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock.
Powering the watch is the renowned ETA Valjoux 7750, one of the finest and most popular Swiss movements used in mechanical chronograph watches. This movement is celebrated for its reliability and precision. It features a specially designed openworked rotor, adorned with a black lacquered Louis Erard symbol. The movement Operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph, and provides a power reserve of 48 hours.
The black variant comes with a black FKM rubber strap and the Khaki comes with a matching Khaki rubber strap. Each variant is limited to 99 pieces, and priced at CHF 3,333, which is equivalent to AED 14,500.
