Introducing Oris Unveils the New ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition

In 2023, Oris's collaboration with The Muppets resulted in one of the brand's most creative and distinctive releases. Following the great success of the "Oris ProPilot X Kermit" edition, the independent Swiss company returns to unveil a new watch inspired by the second most famous character in the cartoon series.

Now, at the beginning of 2025, Oris introduces a special edition dedicated to the cartoon character Miss Piggy. Featuring a vibrant color and a diamond-studded dial that reflects this elegant character, the watch also boasts a distinctive caseback revealing an image of Miss Piggy. This is a unique addition, as the "Kermit" edition showcased a similar feature in its date window.

The "Miss Piggy" edition adds a feminine touch to the Oris ProPilot collection with its 34mm stainless steel case. This marks the first use of stainless steel in a collection that has traditionally relied on titanium. The case features a mix of brushed and polished surfaces while retaining the sharp angular design, the fluted bezel, and the small crown guards that protect the screw-down crown. 

The stainless steel caseback includes a small mineral glass window as a unique detail, where Miss Piggy's image appears intermittently with the rotor's movement, adding a distinctive charm to the watch. The case offers water resistance up to 100 meters.

The dial of the Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy edition showcases the iconic pink color of Miss Piggy. Oris selected a matte pink finish, complemented by applied hour markers coated in the same color, creating a harmonious and visually appealing design. At 12 o’clock, Oris adds a touch of elegance by replacing the traditional marker with a baguette-cut diamond, reflecting Miss Piggy's luxurious style.

The watch is powered by the automatic Caliber 531, based on a Sellita movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).

A stainless steel bracelet completes the refined design of the watch. The bracelet features polished central links and brushed outer links, secured with a folding clasp inspired by seatbelt designs.

The Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy edition is priced at 2,800 Swiss Francs, approximately 11,760 AED.
