Introducing Nomos Glashütte Brings Back the Club Sport Neomatik with Updated Specifications

Smaller Case Size and Three Fresh new Dial Colors

Nomos Glashütte is a prestigious German watch brand founded by Roland Schwertner in 1990 in the town of Glashütte, renowned for its rich watchmaking heritage. The brand was created with the goal of reviving the region’s fine watchmaking traditions after German reunification. Schwertner’s vision was to blend German craftsmanship with minimalist, contemporary design. Nomos watches are known for their in house mechanical movements, offering high quality luxury timepieces at relatively affordable prices compared to other high-end brands, with an emphasis on fine detailing and hand craftsmanship. The brand’s collections include several models, such as the “Club Sport Neomatik 39”, which was previously available in various sizes and colors. Now, Nomos has announced its latest edition of this model, the Club Sport neomatik 34, featuring new sizes and colors.

This watch features a fully polished 34mm stainless steel case with a sleek 8.2mm height, offering a refined and versatile design. Its domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures clear visibility while protecting the dial from scratches. With a screw-down crown highlighted by a red warning ring and a sapphire crystal or solid screw-down case back, the watch achieves an impressive 200m water resistance, making it suitable for diving.

The Club Sport Neomatik 34 features three stunning dial options, galvanized gold, or purple, or silver plated with a rose finish, each meticulously hand crafted and finished with radiant sunray finish. The dials are designed with white SuperLumiNova-treated hour numerals and indexes, ensuring excellent legibility even in low light. The hour and minute hands are rhodium plated and also enhanced with SuperLumiNova for increased visibility. A small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, adorned with a snailing pattern, adds a touch of refinement, while the outer minutes track on edges, numbered every five minutes, further elevates the dial’s readability and design.

The watch is powered by the in-house NOMOS neomatik caliber DUW 3001, an automatic movement renowned for its precision and innovative features. Operating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz), this caliber offers a power reserve of up to 43 hours. It boasts the NOMOS Swing System. The movement includes a stop-seconds mechanism, a bidirectional winding rotor.

It comes with a three-link brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet, with deployant clasp and quick release system.
