The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Overseas Tourbillon in a new look, studded with stunning baguette cut pieces

Vacheron Constantin is a renowned Swiss watch manufacturer with a rich history dating back to 1755 when it was founded by François Constantin, along with Jean-Marc Vacheron in Geneva, Switzerland. The company has the distinction of being the oldest continually active watch manufacturer. In 1977 the brand introduced the iconic “Historiques 222”, commemorating the 222nd anniversary of the Swiss watchmaker. The "222" was a vintage luxury wristwatch that epitomized the aesthetic and technical characteristics of sports watches. This timepiece, with its bold design, has continuously evolved, becoming a symbol of Vacheron Constantin's commitment to excellence.

In 2016, the Overseas collection redefined Vacheron Constantin’s spirit, reflecting a sense of travel and exploration. The Overseas Tourbillon was introduced at SIHH 2019, marking a new addition to the Overseas collection. It comes in a stainless steel case measuring 42.50 mm in diameter with a slim 10.39mm profile. Notably, it houses Vacheron Constantin's ultra-slim tourbillon calibre 2160, the brand's first-ever automatic tourbillon movement. Now, the brand released the “Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery” with an 18K white gold case distinguished by its bezel set with 60 baguette-cut diamonds for the first time.

The new timepiece is crafted from 18k white gold, remaining faithful with its dimensions to its predecessors captivating us with its design. Surrounding the sapphire crystal is a bezel adorned with a stunning display of 60 baguette-cut diamonds, elevating the watch's allure.The transparent sapphire crystal caseback provides a glimpse into the intricate inner workings, with a screw-down crown, this timepiece is water-resistant up to 50m. Notably, the soft-iron casing ring ensures anti-magnetic protection.

The brass blue lacquer dial boasts a beautiful sunburst finish. Accentuating its allure are 18k white gold hour markers adorned with 9 placed baguette-cut diamonds, infusing a touch of opulence. The hour and minute hands, also crafted in 18k white gold, are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring enhanced visibility in any lighting conditions. At 6 o'clock position, the tourbillon takes center stage, commanding attention with a hand mirror-polished bridge that features a small seconds counter.

Powering this timepiece is the ultra thin VC calibre 2160 measuring 31mm diameter x 5.65mm thickness, an automatic movement with a 22k gold peripheral gold rotor. It boasts 80 hours of power reserve, and operates at 18,000vph (2.5Hz). This movement is decorated with hand-beveled bridges adorned in Côtes de Genève.

 

 

 

The 18k white gold integrated bracelet is secured with a triple-blade folding clasp equipped with a comfort-adjustment system. Additionally, the watch includes a blue calfskin leather strap with grey stitching and a blue rubber strap, both accompanied by interchangeable 18k white gold pin buckles adorned with 16 baguette-cut diamonds.
