The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Daniel Roth

Daniel Roth is a luxury Swiss watch brand founded by master watchmaker Daniel Roth in 1989. The brand is known for its distinctive design elements, innovative complications, and exceptional craftsmanship. Daniel Roth watches are characterized by their unique, elongated elliptical cases, which are a signature feature of the brand.Throughout the years, Daniel Roth has produced a variety of timepieces, ranging from classic dress watches to complex and highly sophisticated models with tourbillons, minute repeaters, and other complications. The brand has gained a reputation for its attention to detail and the quality of its movements, which are often in-house or highly modified.

In 2000, Daniel Roth joined the Bulgari Group (now LVMH Group). The acquisition enabled the brand to expand its distribution and production capacities. However, in the years following the acquisition, the Daniel Roth name became less prominent, as the company focused more on incorporating Daniel Roth's design elements and expertise into the larger Bulgari brand.Despite this shift in focus, the Daniel Roth brand still holds a special place in the hearts of watch enthusiasts, who appreciate its unique designs and dedication to horological excellence.

However, in the first quarter of 2023, a major change occurred. The brand began to operate independently, joining watchmaking professionals Louis Vuitton's "La Fabrique du Temps" watch manufacturer. This collaboration also brought together master watchmakers Michel Navas and Enrico Barbacini. With a fresh start and a renewed vision, the revitalized Daniel Roth brand announces its first watch in March 2023.
