Breitling Showcases Its Latest Movement in the Top Time B31 Editions

Breitling introduces three new editions to its renowned Top Time collection, featuring time-and-date-only displays, marking a departure from the collection’s traditional focus on modern chronographs. Originally launched in the 1960s, this sporty timepiece was a significant success for the brand.

As one of the first chronograph watches designed for both men and women, the Top Time now takes a new direction with an innovative design powered by an entirely new movement, the B31 caliber.

Introducing Tudor Unveils the New Black Bay 68

A New 43mm Addition to the Brand’s Renowned Diving Watch Collection

Tudor introduces an entirely new Black Bay model in a bold 43mm size, a larger option for its renowned diving watch. Available in two striking color configurations, silver and blue, this edition maintains the trusted design cues of the Black Bay line, featuring a black bezel, 200 m water resistance, and a METAS-certified caliber.

According to the brand, “Tudor isn’t afraid to go against the grain, it’s been in the brand’s DNA since the very beginning. Everyone knows the 'trend' in modern watchmaking is to go smaller. But this time it’s all about thinking big”

The new case measures 43mm in diameter while maintaining the same 13.6mm thickness as the 41mm models. It preserves the familiar Black Bay diver aesthetic with its brushed and polished surfaces, a fluted bezel, and a 60-minute unidirectional stainless steel bezel featuring a matte black aluminum insert.

A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a solid stainless steel case back completes the look, ensuring a robust 200 m water resistance.

Available in two dial colors—silver sunray-brushed and Tudor blue—both dials boast a domed finish. The silver model features black-accented hands and markers, whereas the blue edition incorporates silver-toned elements. Both models are generously filled with Super-Luminova, and the hands retain the classic “Snowflake” design.

Powering the watches is the automatic MT5601-U movement, the well-established Kenissi-made caliber used throughout the Black Bay collection. It operates at 4Hz, provides a 70-hour power reserve, and is Master Chronometer-certified by METAS, ensuring superior accuracy of –2/+4 seconds per day and high resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.

The Tudor Black Bay 68 is paired with a 3-link stainless steel bracelet featuring smooth side flanks instead of vintage-inspired rivets, and it is secured with the brand’s practical T-Fit clasp with rapid adjustment Priced at EURO 4,730, which is approximately equivalent to 19,200 AED.
