Introducing Trilobe Unveils the New Trente-Deux Watch

The Brand’s First Fully In-House Calibre in a Watch Inspired of Parisian Neighborhoods

In a watchmaking world often governed by tradition, Trilobe has carved a poetic and disruptive path since its inception in 2018. Celebrated for reimagining the perception of time, the Parisian maison has consistently challenged conventions by inverting the fundamental concept of watch display replacing hands with rotating rings and anchoring the reading of time to three fixed indicators shaped in its signature trilobe motif.

Now, amidst the prestigious setting of Geneva Watch Days 2025, Trilobe unveils its latest creation, an evolution that continues its mission to free time from tradition and celebrate the art of the unconventional. "Trilobe Trente-Deux" watch, a bold stride into the realm of integrated luxury sports watches.

Named after the brand’s historic Parisian address at 32 Avenue de l’Opéra, the watch unites architectural elegance, mechanical ingenuity, and contemporary refinement. Most remarkably, it introduced the X-Nihilo movement, Trilobe's first entirely in-house caliber, developed and assembled in France signaling a new era of independence and horological self-expression.

Crafted from 316L stainless steel, the case of the Trente-Deux is a study in meticulous design and refined execution. Measuring 39.5 mm in diameter with a slim 10.15 mm profile and a 46.18 mm lug-to-lug height, it balances contemporary proportions with wearable comfort. The construction comprises seven individual components, each finished with a dynamic interplay of mirror-polished, satin-brushed, and microblasted surfaces. A fluted bezel further elevates the aesthetic, featuring mirror-polished ridges and microblasted grooves that create striking visual contrast. Enhancing clarity and durability, both the sapphire crystal on the dial and the transparent caseback are treated with a multi-layer ARDUR anti-reflective coating. The case also includes a fluted push-button crown and offers 50 meters of water resistance.

Available in two sophisticated dial variations blue or gray the Trente-Deux showcases a minimalist yet mechanically complex design that reflects Trilobe’s signature philosophy of deconstructing time. The dial features a matte sunray finish, enriched with finely grained discs for the hours and minutes, and a small seconds wheel adorned with a mix of azurage and Clous de Paris guilloché patterns. A refined circular chapter ring, alternating satin-brushed and mirror-polished surfaces, encircles the dial, creating a sense of architectural depth.

Time is displayed using three concentric rotating discs, each lying on the same plane as the dial to maintain a sleek, uninterrupted surface. At the outermost edge, the largest disc indicates the hours; just inside it, the middle disc shows the minutes; and at the center, a smaller rotating wheel tracks the seconds. Pad-printed numerals on each disc align with three fixed indicators discreetly integrated into the dial in the form of Trilobe’s signature three-lobed motif. To read the time, the wearer simply notes which numeral on each disc is currently aligned with its corresponding fixed marker. This intuitive yet unconventional approach transforms time reading into an engaging and poetic experience, in true Trilobe fashion.

At the heart of the Trente-Deux beats X-Nihilo calibre, Trilobe’s first fully in-house mechanical movement, a self-winding caliber that exemplifies both technical precision and Parisian artistry. Comprising 218 components, the movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and delivers a 42-hour power reserve.

The standout feature is the openworked oscillating weight, made of tungsten, which combines sunburst brushing with grain texturing. This rotor not only reveals the balance wheel, elegantly held by a bridge inspired by classical watchmaking, but also integrates a shock-absorbing safety pin system to protect the movement from impact. Completing the Parisian identity, the movement’s bridge is engraved with “Paris, France” in a typography reminiscent of vintage Parisian street signs, an elegant nod to the maison’s roots.

It comes with a polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet, featuring a double folding clasp engraved with the Trilobe logo.
