Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Tissot's Heritage Collection launches three new watches featuring fresh and classy dials

Tissot is a family established Swiss watch brand with a rich history. Over 150 years in the industry, the brand is Continuously evolving, and has redesigned its classic collections that introduced Miscellaneous concepts.

Within its first year, Tissot achieved a breakthrough by introducing a one-movement pocket watch with two time zones. Over the time The brand has produced a diverse range of timepieces, including sports chronographs and mechanical watches.

In 2022, Tissot introduced the Tissot Telemeter 1938, a vintage-inspired chronograph that pays tribute to the brand's historical roots. Crafted as a contemporary rendition of a 1930s sports watch, with 42mm in diameter and 15mm in height.

Alongside the Telemeter 1938, Tissot also introduced the Tissot Heritage 1938 Chronometer to the collection, showcasing two time-only watches. with a design filled with vintage aesthetics. The watch features sapphire crystal on both sides, surrounded by a polished bezel. It is encased in a brushed and polished stainless steel case, complemented by a distinctive onion crown, and boasts a water resistance of 50m. In contrast to their older sibling, they exhibit a smaller diameter of 39mm and a thinner thickness of 11mm.

The dial of the Chronometer models, showcasing Arabic numerals, slender glaive hands, and a peripheral railroad minute track. This collection presents two distinct dial options, a matte salmon dia featuring black numerals and hands, and a black dial embellished with faux-aged lume, gold-colored hands and indexes.

 

These models are powered by a precise, chronometer-rated automatic ETA 2824-2 movement, which boasts a power reserve of 38 hours. Each watch comes with its own accompanying strap, a gray leather strap for the salmon dial variant, and a brown leather strap for the black dial version; both straps feature a steel pin buckle. These timepieces are offered at an affordable price of EUR 875, equivalent to AED 3,500.

The Heritage Collection also presents the Tissot Heritage Small Seconds 1938, providing a delicately modern take on the design. The watch features a case measuring 39mm in diameter and a slightly more slender 9.8mm height compared with the chronometer models, boasting a water resistance of 50m. It incorporates a curved sapphire crystal, encircled by a polished bezel, and is completed with a transparent case back.

The Small Seconds 1938 model features a grained dark gray dial with contrasting silver and gold-toned indexes and hands, with a white peripheral railroad minute track. Unlike the chronometer models, this watch has a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock and a date window at 3 o'clock.

Within the Small Seconds case lies the ETA 2895-2 automatic movement that is capable of a 42-hour power reserve. The timepiece is accompanied by a steel Milanese mesh bracelet as well as an extra gray leather strap, both equipped with quick-release spring bars. Priced at EUR 1,025 which is approximately AED 4,100.
