Square Case Inspired by the Shape of an Old TV
Timex is an American watch company founded in 1854. Timex was also one of the first brands to offer water-resistant watches and models designed for sports and outdoor activities, gaining popularity among athletes and adventurers. Timex watches are known for their diverse designs, including sports and everyday wear models. The company manufactures its watches in various facilities worldwide and distributes them globally.
Now, we are excited to present the latest release from the brand: the "Automatic 1983 E-Line 34mm", inspired by the iconic design of vintage televisions. Originally introduced in 1983, this reissue brings a classic look with modern functionality to a new generation of watch enthusiasts.
The watch comes with a 34mm stainless steel square case with a brushed and polished finish, offering a sophisticated yet durable appearance. With a thickness of 12mm, the case strikes a balanced profile, making it suitable for various wrist sizes. The acrylic crystal protects the dial, while the stainless steel case back adds strength and completes the sleek design.
The dial of this timepiece features a sleek silver-tone color, accented by polished applied indexes and polished silver hands that add a touch of elegance. The full markers around the dial offer clear time readability, while a date window positioned at the 3 o’clock mark adds practicality. A black printed minute track runs along the edges of the dial, enhancing legibility and providing a stylish contrast to the overall design.
The watch is powered by the Miyota Caliber 8215, a Japanese automatic movement. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), it ensures smooth and consistent timekeeping. With a 42-hour power reserve. It comes with a stainless steel bracelet, and priced at USD 219 approximately equivalent to AED 800.
