A special carbon edition for the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, participants in the Giro d'Italia for the first time
The Giro d'Italia, also known as the Tour of Italy, is an annual multi-stage bicycle race held in Italy. The inaugural race took place in 1909, and it has been held annually since then, with interruptions only during the two World Wars. it’s the second famous race after the Tour de France. This year marks a notable addition as the Tudor Pro Cycling Team will represent the brand throughout the entire 21-stage race, marking the young team's inaugural Grand Tour.
The latest release of the Pelagos FXD marks a departure from its predecessor, drawing inspiration from the U.S. Navy, as it incorporates chronograph functionality. Specifically tailored for the riders of the Tudor Pro Cycling Team, the new Pelagos FXD model is a cycling-themed chronograph designed with lightweight materials and functionality at its core. Featuring a carbon composite case, it embodies the essence of performance on the road.
The case measures 43 mm in width and 14.4 mm in height. Made from carbon composite with a matte black finish, the fixed bezel features a black hus too, providing a sleek aesthetic. It boasts a water resistance of 100 meters. Topping the case is a flat sapphire crystal, adding to its overall appeal, while the crown and the pushers are made of titanium.
