A bold take on the iconic ProPilot with a black case and a fully lumed dial
Oris has remained an independent brand for over a century, producing mechanical watches with character and purpose. Every year on June 1st, Oris releases a limited-edition timepiece that honors the Swiss village where it all began, Hölstein. For 2025, the brand returns with a bold take on the iconic ProPilot, featuring a fully lumed dial.
The watch is housed in a stainless steel case coated in black DLC, measuring 41mm in diameter and 11.9mm in thickness. The dial is protected by a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, while the exhibition caseback, also sapphire, is surrounded by a lumed ring and engraved with the edition name. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, aided by a screw-down crown.

By day, the dial appears matte white with black Arabic numerals and matching hands. But in darkness, it transforms: coated entirely in Super-LumiNova, the dial glows vivid green, and a playful silhouette of the Oris Bear emerges between 3 and 4 o’clock.

Powering the watch is Oris’s in-house Calibre 400, an automatic movement that delivers a 120-hour (five-day) power reserve and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). It comes fitted with a black textile strap lined with leather and secured with a black DLC-plated folding clasp to match the case. The Hölstein Edition 2025 is limited to just 250 individually numbered pieces and is priced at CHF 4,150, approximately AED 18,700.
