A special edition of the iconic Seamaster to commemorate the upcoming 2026 Olympics
Omega has served as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932, capturing every thrilling second of the event. After a range of releases for the 2024 Olympic Games, Omega is now preparing for the opening ceremony of the 2026 Olympics, which will take place on February 6, 2026, at San Siro in Milan. To mark the occasion, the brand launched today the Seamaster 37mm Milano Cortina 2026.
This isn’t the first time Omega has honored the Olympic Games with a special edition of its iconic Seamaster. The first was in 1956, when the Summer Olympics took place in Melbourne, Australia, and the Winter Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. Omega released a yellow gold version of the Seamaster, which shared a similar aesthetic to the one we see today. In 2008, Omega also released a variant for the Beijing Summer Games in China.
As for the new 2026 model, it comes in 18K Moonshine Gold, Omega’s distinctive yellow gold alloy, a mix of gold, silver, copper, and palladium. The case measures 37mm in diameter, 11.55mm in thickness, and features a polished bezel that surrounds a box sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Turning the watch over reveals a polished caseback adorned with a commemorative medallion featuring the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics logo, along with engravings highlighting its Master Chronometer certification.
The white Grand Feu enamel dial features applied 18K Moonshine Gold indices and dauphine hands, with a vintage Omega logo that adds a nostalgic touch. The subtle minute markers and the "Seamaster" script are crafted using the Petit Feu enamel technique.
The watch is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8807. This automatic movement operates at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5Hz), with a power reserve of 55 hours. It also boasts resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The movement features an 18K Sedna Gold rotor, Omega’s rose gold alloy.

The timepiece is paired with a brown alligator leather strap, secured with an 18K Moonshine Gold pin buckle adorned with the Omega emblem. It’s available at a price of CHF 16,900, approximately AED 68,800.
