Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Three new styles of the 'millesime' collection for the brand's first debut at W&W
Raymond Weil, a brand hailing from Geneva, stands as an independent brand founded in 1976 by Raymond Weil. Today, under the leadership of his grandson, Elie Bernheim, the brand has persistently risen, consolidating a good reputation in haute horology. Following its triumph in securing the Challenge Prize at the GPHG 2023 which is typically awarded to watches under CHF 2,000, equivalent to AED 8,000. A pivotal accolade in its nearly five-decade history, Raymond Weil is making its inaugural appearance at Watches & Wonders. It is introducing 11 new references for the 'millesime' collection as its foremost endeavor to engage with new generations.

Until now, the millesime collection comprised only two designs: a typical time-only display offered in four dial color options (silver, midnight blue, anthracite, and salmon), while the other showcases a small seconds counter at 6 o'clock and is available with either a silver or anthracite dial. Now, the time-only display receives three new female references, all housed in a 35 mm stainless steel case measuring 9.18 mm thick, with options including a Denim Blue dial adorned with diamonds on the lugs, or a silver dial without diamonds. Furthermore, the third reference features a stainless steel case with rose gold PVD coating and a burgundy dial. However, the small seconds release now gets Denim Blue and British Racing Green dial colors, which are both fresh and contemporary yet possess a classical allure.

These two new small seconds references maintain the same elegant 39.5 mm stainless steel that has a thickness of 10.25 mm, with a glassbox sapphire crystal that protects the dial. Speaking of the dial, it showcases a small seconds display at 6 o'clock, and Super-LumiNova-coated silvered hands ensuring optimal readability in low light. These watches are powered by the RW4200 caliber automatic movement that provides 38 hours of power reserve, featuring RAYMOND WEIL’s exclusive finishing.

The brand also adds new aesthetics to the moon phase releases, which stands out uniquely in two distinct dial versions. The first presents a restrained, contemporary interpretation with a silver dial harmonizing seamlessly with its 39.5 mm stainless steel case that's 10.05 thick. In contrast, the second version embraces traditional watchmaking aesthetics, characterized by the bi-color effect of its rose gold PVD steel case paired with a deep midnight blue dial. This new millesime moon phase is equipped with the RW4280 automatic movement, providing 38-hour power reserve.

The moon phase complication adorn the women's watches as well, one showcased in a 35mm stainless steel case with a Denim blue dial and the other in a rose gold PVD coated case with a silver dial. These timepieces are powered by the same RW4280 movement that is featured in the mens version.

The dial exudes refined athleticism, with three silvered subdials set against a midnight blue backdrop, complemented by light blue Arabic numerals and navy blue indexes and hands. A nice touch is added with the inclusion of a red tachymeter scale on the midnight-blue dial. The second version boasts a black dial adorned with white hour-markers and Arabic numerals, creating a strikingly bold and assertive aesthetic. Both watches are powered by the RW5030 automatic movement that offers 56 hours of power reserve.
Each watch mentioned in this article has a price that ranges between CHF 1,575 to CHF 3,500 which is equivalent to AED 6,520 to AED 14,500.
