Introducing Panerai announces the new Carbotech PAM01526 watch from the Luminor Quaranta collection

Sandwich dial inside a case made of innovative carbotech material

Panerai has long been known for its watch designs that blend military spirit with modern technology. Founded in Florence in 1860, the company has developed a strong reputation for producing high-quality diving watches.

Panerai served as an official supplier to the Italian Navy during World War II, further solidifying its status in the world of military timepieces. The brand is recognized for its unique large-sized case shape, distinctive crown, and the variety of materials used in its watch cases, such as” the Bi Tempo Goldtec” watch from the Luminor Quaranta collection, which features a combination of materials to create an ultra-strong case.

Today, the brand launches its latest addition to the same collection: “Carbotech PAM01526” watch, at the Internacional Alta Relojería México.

The watch features a 40 mm case made from Panerai’s innovative Carbotech™, a unique carbon composite material renowned for its lightweight properties and exceptional durability. Weighing 80% less than steel, 73% less than ceramic and 64% less than titanium, this watch is designed to be easy to wear without compromising on strength. The case features a Carbotech bezel, a screw-down transparent sapphire crystal and a DLC titanium caseback, all of which contribute to its robust construction. The Luminor Quaranta is water-resistant to 300 metres, making it the perfect companion for any adventure.

The sandwich dial features a stunning matte green design. The Arabic numerals and hour markers, along with the hands, are coated with white Super-LumiNova, creating a mesmerizing green glow in the dark and ensuring easy readability in low-light conditions. Additional features include a date window at 3 o’clock and a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, enhancing both the functionality and style of this exquisite timepiece.
