A Classic Timepiece Available in Two Sunray Dial Variants
Founded in 1950, Orient is a renowned Japanese brand, Known for its in-house movements, the brand distinguishes itself by offering quality timepieces at competitive prices. Orient’s collection includes a wide range of designs, from classic models like the Orient Bambino, which features a simple and elegant design ideal for formal occasions. Orient remains a popular choice for watch enthusiasts seeking both performance and value. In its latest releases the brand is launching the “Bambino 38 Limited Editions 2024” watch, available in two colors.
The watch comes in a stainless steel case with a 38.4mm diameter, 12.5mm thickness, and a lug-to-lug measurement of 44mm, offering a balanced and comfortable fit on the wrist. The case is topped with a domed mineral glass. On the back, a mineral glass exhibition case back allows a glimpse into the movement, complete with a limited edition engraving. A fluted crown adds a refined finishing touch to the design.
The dial is available in a choice of baby blue or copper, each featuring a sunray polished and matte coating. The applied silver faceted indices and central hands are designed to reflect light. A black printed minute track encircles the dial's edge, ensuring optimal readability, while the date window at 3 o’clock adds practical functionality with a clean, simple layout. Subtly positioned above the hands, the brand's logo and name complete the refined design.
The watch is powered by the in-house F6724 automatic movement, it operates at 21,600 vph (3Hz), and offers 40 hours of power reserve. Its accuracy is rated at +25/-15 seconds per day. Additionally, the decorated rotor adds a touch of visual appeal.
The copper dial version of this watch is a limited edition of 2,500 pieces, while the baby blue dial is limited to 6,500 pieces. It comes with a brown calf leather strap and a pin buckle. Priced at USD 330, approximately equivalent to AED 1,200.
