Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A robust timepiece with blue aesthetics and bold yellow touches
Hanhart is a renowned watch brand that specializes in pilot's watches and has had a significant impact on the German watch industry. Its reputation was solidified during World War II, as it was the producer of chronographs for pilots.
In aviation, pilot’s watches are required to withstand extreme vibrations, enormous temperature fluctuations, significant differences in altitude, and fluctuating weather conditions. Flying over the sea has always demanded the utmost precision and a keen understanding of the elements. Few environments test a watch as rigorously as flying low over the sea on a stormy night, culminating in a landing on a swaying deck. For such challenging situations, the new limited-edition Fly Navy Aerosphere is a reliable and precise wrist companion, taking inspiration from Germany’s Naval Aviation Squadrons (Marinefliegergeschwader).
The watch features a 42mm x 12.95mm stainless steel case, brushed and polished, with a fluted 60-click unidirectional bezel that includes a navy blue ceramic insert surrounding a convex sapphire crystal. It has a screw-down crown with guards and a screw-down caseback engraved with one of two designs: the MFG3 'Graf Zeppelin' logo with wings and tridents or the MFG5 with a sea eagle. Each design is limited to 150 pieces, making this release a limited edition of 300. The watch also includes a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock and boasts 300m water-resistance.

The watch features a navy blue dial with applied indices coated with Super-LumiNova and openworked hour and minute hands treated with the same luminescent material. The seconds hand displays the trident of Poseidon, who, according to Greek mythology, is the god of the sea. At 6 o'clock, the German Navy symbol appears in yellow, and a date window with a black background is positioned at 3 o'clock.

The watch is powered by the Sellita SW200, an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 38-hour power reserve. It comes with a blue textile hook strap, priced at EUR 1,490, equivalent to AED 6,000, or a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, priced at EUR 1,690, equivalent to AED 6,700.
