Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing H. Moser & Cie Launches the Pioneer Flying Hours

Two new editions combining wandering hours with a jumping hour mechanism

Complications in watchmaking have evolved far beyond being mere functions beyond the display of time; they have become a true form of mechanical art, showcasing the creative spirit and forward momentum of horology. H. Moser & Cie. has long embraced this philosophy, proving that technical mastery can coexist with purity and elegance.

The Pioneer collection, launched in 2015, was conceived as a robust and versatile everyday watch. Three years later, the maison introduced the Endeavour Flying Hours, its first interpretation of the wandering hours display. At Geneva Watch Days 2025, these two strands of Moser’s identity converge in the Pioneer Flying Hours, where the adventurous spirit of the Pioneer line meets a fresh evolution of the wandering hours complication, this time enhanced with jumping hours.

The watch is presented in a 42.8mm case, offered either in 5N red gold with black DLC-coated titanium inserts or stainless steel. Thickness varies slightly: 16.1mm for the red gold version and 14.2mm for the steel edition. Both models feature the Pioneer’s signature curved sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown that guarantees 120 meters of water resistance.

Its display reinterprets the wandering hours through three rotating satellite discs orbiting a skeletonised central minutes disc, with one numeral snapping crisply into place at the start of each hour. On the red gold model, the deep aventurine dial evokes the night sky and is paired with a gold-framed jumping hour aperture. The steel version opts for a white fumé dial with a sunburst finish and frameless hour windows, lending it a clean, modern presence.

Inside beats the in-house automatic calibre HMC 240, equipped with a Straumann hairspring \that is resistant to temperature changes and oxidation. The calibre features anthracite-finished bridges and plates, operates at 21,600 vph (3 Hz), and delivers a 72-hour power reserve. Rotor material differs by model: solid red gold for the red gold edition and tungsten for the steel version.

Both watches are paired with textured black or gray rubber straps, secured by pin buckles matching the case material. The red gold edition is limited to 100 pieces, priced at CHF 39,000 (approx. AED 177,800), while the steel model enters the permanent collection at CHF 29,000 (approx. AED 132,300).
