Multi-layered sapphire crystal dial in colors inspired by the watch's name
In a remarkable collaboration that merges history with innovation, “Fears” Watch Company and “Studio Underd0g” have unveiled a new iteration of the classic Brunswick model, named The Gimlet. This limited-edition release celebrates British Watchmakers’ Day 2025, a tribute to the craftsmanship and heritage of British watchmaking. The partnership brings together Fears' rich legacy, dating back to 1846 and revitalized in 2016, with the bold, contemporary designs of Studio Underd0g, which has made waves in the industry since its inception in 2021. The new timepiece reflects a seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern aesthetics, highlighting Fears' dedication to quality and precision alongside Underd0g’s playful, dynamic approach to watchmaking. This collaboration exemplifies how two distinct brands, one with a storied past and the other with a fresh, youthful spirit, can unite to create a distinctive and highly appealing timepiece that honors both heritage and innovation.
The watch comes in a distinct cushion-shaped case that combines elegance with practicality. Constructed from two parts of durable brushed and polished stainless steel, the case provides a 100 meters of water resistance, ensuring reliability in various environments. With a 38mm diameter, 12mm thickness, and 43.5mm lug-to-lug measurement, it strikes a perfect balance between a compact yet comfortable fit on the wrist. The case is further enhanced by a domed sapphire crystal, and an onion crown, adding a vintage touch to the modern design while ensuring ease of use and functionality.

The dial of the Gimlet is inspired by the classic cocktail of the same name, a refreshing drink typically made with gin and lime juice, known for its crisp, clean flavors. This concept is beautifully captured in the dial’s gradient, which transitions smoothly from white to yellow, and finally to green, echoing the vibrant hues of the cocktail ingredients. Crafted by Studio Underd0g, the base dial is coated with seven layers of Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent luminosity in low-light conditions.
Hour indices, the minute railway track, and the logo are carefully printed on a 1mm-thick sapphire disc, which is then secured to the base dial with two visible screws, creating depth and a distinctive look. The skeletal hour and minute hands further enhance the modern and airy aesthetic of the watch, providing a nod to the cocktail’s sharp, precise qualities.
The watch is driven by the manually wound Sellita SW210-1 movement. Operating at 28,800 vph (4Hz), this movement offers a smooth hand sweep and a 42-hour power reserve, ensuring the watch stays functional even after being removed for a while. With an accuracy range of -7 to +7 seconds per day, the SW210-1 delivers precise timekeeping, while the clockwise winding system makes it easy to wind and guarantees reliable performance.
It comes with a calfskin leather strap, and stainless steel pin buckle. This watch is a limited edition to 200 pieces, and pierced at GBP 1,000 approximately AED 4,600.
