Louis Erard Unveils the Limited-Edition Gravée Main

Since 2021, Louis Erard has been redefining the boundaries of Métiers d’Art, from Grand Feu enamel and guilloché to wood marquetry, and soon, gold wire inlay. Now, Gravée Main opens a new chapter, paying tribute to one of the oldest crafts in watchmaking hand engraving.
Gravée Main represents a new milestone in Louis Erard’s Métiers d’Art series. This limited edition of 99 unique timepieces places hand engraving at center stage, with every metal element entirely engraved and finished by hand, a meticulous process that requires more than 50 hours of work.

Introducing Christopher Ward Unveils the Twelve 660

Four releases marking the brand’s thinnest integrated sports watches yet

Christopher Ward was founded in 2004 with a vision to align English design sensibilities with Swiss precision. What followed was a series of bold moves, including the creation of the Calibre SH21, the first British-made mechanical calibre in over 50 years, and standout models like the Bel Canto, which won the GPHG Petite Aiguille Award in 2023. Now, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, Christopher Ward unveils its thinnest integrated sports watch to date: The Twelve 660.

Crafted from stainless steel, the case measures 38mm in diameter and just 6.6mm thick, making it one of the slimmest watches the brand has ever produced. The name "660" is a clever nod to its dimensions, much like the 2018 C1 Malvern 595, which was 5.95mm thick and came with a leather strap. The case is topped with a bold twelve-sided bezel, combining linear brushing, polished bevels, and sandblasted accents. A stealthy, all-black DLC-coated version (BLK) adds a modern edge. Around the back, a sapphire display caseback reveals the reworked movement, accented by a skeletonised bridge and refined finishing.

The lacquered dial features a subtle grained texture and omits both a seconds hand and date aperture, focusing attention on the diamond-polished, brushed hour indices and finely finished hands. The dial is offered in four elegant tones, BLK, WHT, GRN, and BLU.

Powering the Twelve 660 is a hand-wound Sellita SW210, significantly reworked by Christopher Ward’s in-house team. Enhancements include a rhodium-plated, skeletonised train bridge with vertical brushing and polished chamfers, as well as decorative finishing on the crown and ratchet wheels.

The integrated steel bracelet has been specially redesigned for this model, featuring 2.9mm-thick single links and a slimmer 4.2mm butterfly clasp with inline push-button closure, ensuring the bracelet complements, rather than overwhelms, the ultra-thin case. The Twelve 660 joins the brand’s permanent collection. The price is $1660 ≈ AED 6,100 on a bracelet for the steel versions and $1790 ≈ AED 6,600 for the black variant. However the price of the strap variants are $1,495 ≈ AED 5,500 for the steel variant and $1,550 ≈ AED 5,700 for the black version.
