Founded in 1822, Carl Suchy & Söhne is Austrian watch company known for its fine craftsmanship and skillful blending of traditional methods with modern design. In March 2023, the brand launched the Belvedere collection, inspired by the historic Belvedere Palace in Vienna, which was once the residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy. This collection reflects a blend of timeless elegance and contemporary style, featuring high-quality materials and notable design elements such as moving dynamic ate displays window and finely detailed rotors. The latest release offers two new color options, bordeaux and champagne, adding a sophisticated touch to the collection.
The Belvedere Bordeaux timepiece presents a sleek and refined design. Its 316L pearl-blasted stainless steel case is subtly enhanced by the interplay between the polished bezel, lugs, and case back, and the satin-finished surfaces. Featuring a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and a pressed case back with a decorated, gold-plated movement ring, this watch combines elegance with functionality. With a diameter of 40.8 mm, a lug-to-lug measurement of 43.9 mm, and a height of 12.2 mm, it offers a streamlined profile. The screw-down crown, filled with black lacquer, ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.

The timepiece is offered in two distinguished dial options: Champagne and Burgundy. Both variants showcase a unique date display window that shifts daily, providing a refreshed appearance every twenty-four hours. The asymmetrical guilloché dial is accentuated by skeletonized Dauphine hands and indexes, treated with SuperLumiNova to ensure exceptional readability in varying light conditions. The dial features a lacquered finish with an integrated concave flange, complemented by rhodium-plated, concave indexes and a golden second hand, enhancing its overall sophistication.

The timepiece features a meticulously decorated automatic movement with a rotor bearing a micro-engraved depiction of Belvedere Palace. Powered by the CSS201 caliber, a refined version of the Dubois Dépraz DD90010, it offers 42-hour power reserve. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and includes 21 jewels, The watch comes with a Burgundy or Champagne rubber strap,quick-release spring bars,316L stainless steel deployant clasp with safety lock,and the price EUR 7,900, equivalent to AED 31,600.
