Caramel Gradient Dial Evokes a Sense of Nostalgia
Bremont is one of the most renowned British watch brands, celebrated for its passion for crafting timepieces in various styles, most notably pilot watches. Founded in 2002 by brothers Nick and Giles English, the brand has introduced many collections, with the most prominent being the Terranova collection. This collection includes several editions, such as the "Jimmy Sheen Chronograph" watch, which was recently released in collaboration with adventurer Jimmy Sheen. Today, we present the brand's latest edition from the same collection, the limited edition "Date 'Caramel" watch, inspired by vintage designs.
The timepiece comes with a stunning satin and polished two-piece stainless steel 904L case, measuring 40.5mm in diameter with a thickness of 11.11mm. Its push-in crown showcases Bremont's new logo, "The Wayfinder," enhancing its distinctive character. The domed anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the watch face, while the decorated stainless steel case back features an intricate engraving of the world map with the name of the collection, "Terra Nova." Designed for durability, this watch boasts a water resistance of 100 meters, making it a reliable companion for both everyday wear.
The watch features a stunning vintage-inspired Caramel gradient dial. This gradient brown metal surface showcases 3D block numerals, enhanced with vintage Super-LumiNova for a green glow in low light. Polished Rhodium hands, also equipped with Super-LumiNova, accompany a distinctive rose gold second hand, adding a touch of sophistication. A practical date window at 3 o'clock complements the broken minute track at the edges, which intersperses with hour indices, ensuring readability. The rich caramel hues and oversized elements echo the timeless charm of 1960s dress and sports-chic watches, making this timepiece both functional and fashionable.
It's powered by a modified Calibre BE-36AE automatic movement. The movement includes a Glucydur balance wheel and an Anachron balance spring, ensuring optimal performance. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), it boasts a 38 hour power reserve, making it both efficient and dependable.
It comes with two options, a 904L stainless steel quick-release bracelet priced at USD 3,650 equivalent to AED 13,400 or a brown leather strap with a pin buckle clasp priced at USD 3,400 equivalent to AED 12,500, and it's a limited edition of 100 pieces.
