Three New Releases Combine the Durability of Dive Watches with the GMT Mechanism
Bremont has expanded its Supermarine 300M collection with the introduction of three new GMT editions, following updates to the line earlier this year. These additions include two limited editions and one permanent model, all retaining the distinctive dive watch design.
Crafted from robust 904L stainless steel, the new symmetrical case measures 40mm in diameter and 13mm in height, which is 1mm thicker than the Supermarine 300M. Designed with crown and bezel guards, this case ensures practicality and enhanced durability, protecting against accidental adjustments and impact damage.
The knurled-edged bezel, made from anodized aluminum, features trapezoid indexes. Its color scheme varies to complement the dial color. The case back is intricately engraved with a world ocean map, emphasizing the collection's marine inspiration. Additionally, the case is water-resistant up to 300 meters.
The dial captivates with its gradient design, available in red, blue, and green. It is adorned with applied indices filled with white Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility. A black ring with a printed minute track surrounds the dial, adding a layer of detail. Polished rhodium-plated hands, also filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensure visibility in low light.
The arrow-shaped GMT hand features a red tip for the red dial and an orange tip for the blue and green dials. A discreet date window at 3 o’clock integrates seamlessly, featuring a black background for all editions.
Powering these watches is the automatic Caliber 1BE-93-2AV, modified by Bremont. This movement includes 25 jewels, a Glucydur balance wheel, an Anachron balance spring, and a Nivaflex mainspring. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), it ensures precision and offers a power reserve of 50 hours.
The watches come equipped with a blue rubber strap and a stainless steel pin buckle, with an optional stainless steel bracelet also available. The Red Ember edition is limited to 200 pieces, while the Blue Glacier edition is limited to 500 pieces. The Green Tundra edition joins the permanent collection.
Pricing starts at GBP 3,600 (approximately AED 16,700) for the rubber strap version and GBP 3,850 (approximately AED 17,850) for the stainless steel bracelet option.
Bremont watches are available at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons Company, the exclusive Bremont retailer in the United Arab Emirates.
