Introducing Carl F. Bucherer Unveils the Heritage BiCompax Annual in Silver Gray

Carl F. Bucherer is a Swiss luxury watchmaker renowned for its high-quality timepieces. The company was founded in 1888 by Carl Friedrich Bucherer in Lucerne, Switzerland. Throughout its history, Carl F. Bucherer has upheld a reputation for excellence in watchmaking craftsmanship and innovation. 

In 2019, the brand introduced the Heritage BiCompax Annual, a timepiece that pays homage to the distinctive design ethos of the 1950s. This piece has become one of the brand's best sellers, embodying CFB’s commitment to craftsmanship. Now, Carl F. Bucherer adds a new silver-gray dial to the along with a new strap option.

The watch comes in a stainless steel case that measures 41 mm in diameter and 14.15 mm in thickness. The timepiece showcases a double-domed sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring a clear display of the dial. The watch features a transparent sapphire crystal case back, giving us a glimpse of the movement. 

The BiCompax dial design showcases two symmetrically arranged rhodium-plated sub-dials, with the small seconds positioned at 3 o'clock and the 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock. Additionally, the dial is encircled by a printed tachymeter scale and printed Arabic numerals, with a date window beneath the 12 o'clock marker and a month indicator frame positioned at 4:30. The watch displays both the month and date with an annual calendar complication that automatically counts months of different lengths, necessitating adjustment only once a year.

The watch is powered by the ETA 2894-2 based movement, the CFB 1972 caliber. This automatic movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve. The watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet, along with an additional textile strap in light gray. Both options are paired with a stainless steel pin-lock folding clasp. The Heritage BiCompax Annual is limited to 888 pieces and prices at CHF 8,500 which is equivalent to AED 35,200.
