Introducing Norqain Unveils The Freedom 60 Chrono 40mm Enjoy Life

Norqain is one of the younger names in Swiss watchmaking, but it has already earned a fan base for its robust and adventurous designs. Independent and based in Nidau, the brand brings a refreshing burst of energy to an industry that often leans heavily on tradition. Its latest release, the Freedom 60 Chrono 40mm Enjoy Life Special Edition, continues that mission, blending Swiss precision with an unfiltered sense of fun.

The watch comes in a 40mm stainless steel case, with a thickness of 14.9mm and a lug-to-lug length of 49.2mm. A polished finish and downward-sloping lugs lend it a subtle vintage charm, further enhanced by mushroom-style chronograph pushers and NORQAIN’s signature side-engraved plate. A box-type sapphire crystal sits on top, while the screw-down crown ensures water resistance up to 100 metres.

Flip the watch over and you’ll find a large ice cream cone and the phrase “Enjoy Life” printed on the flat sapphire caseback, echoing the design’s playful core. It may obscure most of the movement, but that’s exactly the point, this watch is more about embracing the moment than dissecting every detail.

The matte white dial provides a clean canvas for three colourful sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, rendered in green, pink, and blue. Matching accents on the outer tachymeter scale extend the vibrant theme. The date window sits between 4 and 5 o’clock, replacing numerals with a small ice cream cone on select days of the month. Rhodium-plated, diamond-cut hands and indices are coated in white X1 Super-LumiNova, ensuring legibility in low light.

Inside ticks the automatic NORQAIN Calibre N19, a modified Sellita SW510 with cam-operated chronograph functionality. It beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 62-hour power reserve. The watch is available with a three-link steel bracelet, a white rubber strap stitched with NORQAIN’s arrow motif at the lugs, and an alcantara strap. The rubber and alcantara versions come with either a pin buckle or a folding clasp. As a bonus, the watch also ships with a complimentary pair of sunglasses.

The Freedom 60 Chrono Enjoy Life is a limited-production model, available only for a limited time. It is priced at €4,490 / AED 19,200 with the Alcantara strap and pin buckle, €4,650 / AED 19,900 with either the rubber strap and pin buckle or the Alcantara strap and folding buckle, €4,750 / AED 20,400 with the steel bracelet, and €4,800 / AED 20,600 with the rubber strap and folding buckle.
