Cloisonné

Is a decorative technique that involves creating a specific design by placing small metal wires or walls on the surface of the watch enamel and coating them with enamel.

The cloisonné technique is applied by placing small metal wires or walls on the surface of the enamel, resulting in specific artistic shapes or designs. These designs or patterns are then coated with enamel in multiple colors. Afterwards, the decorated enamel is exposed to high temperatures to fuse the enamel coating with the metal surface of the watch enamel. After cooling, the enamel surface is polished to achieve a smooth and even finish, highlighting the vibrant colors of the enamel.
