Introducing Tudor Unveils the Pelagos FXD Chrono Yellow Edition

Tudor introduces the limited edition Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow,” a tribute to the legacy of brand ambassador Fabian Cancellara and his journey to the pinnacle of cycling, first as a celebrated rider, and now as a team owner.

The Pelagos FXD line has seen several remarkable special editions, including last year’s Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition in carbon fiber, created for the Tudor Pro Cycling Team’s debut at the Giro d’Italia, as well as the vibrant FXD Chrono “Pink” released just months ago.

This new edition features a 43 mm case crafted from carbon composite with a matte black finish. The fixed bezel, also in matte black, contributes to the watch’s streamlined, stealthy appearance. A flat sapphire crystal tops the case, while the crown and chronograph pushers are made of lightweight titanium.

Turning the watch over reveals a screw-down case back, also in black-coated titanium, which helps ensure water resistance up to 100 meters. Engraved on the case back is a stylized depiction of three cyclists riding in formation, an homage to the Tudor Pro Cycling Team. Just beneath the image, each piece is individually numbered out of 300.

The black dial. Executed in a matte finish, the dial incorporates black snailed counters. The subdials include a 45-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock, with a date window positioned at 6 o'clock. Surrounding the dial is the tachymeter scale in yellow.

The large square hour-indices and “Snowflake” hands, coated with The hour markers are applied and filled with luminous material to offer larger luminous surfaces and thus improve legibility. 

Powered by the caliber MT5813. We previously saw this caliber in the Tudor Black Bay Chrono Pink and the Pelagos Fxd Chrono Cycling.

A sophisticated movement with a 70-hour power reserve, it’s an automatic, integrated chronograph movement constructed with amenities like a vertical clutch and column wheel. 
The MT5813 is derived from the Breitling B01, but heavily modified by Tudor. Amongst the Tudor upgrades are a free balance wheel and a silicon hairspring. 

The watch is presented on a black fabric strap with a central yellow stripe, reinforcing its sporty aesthetic. The Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” is limited to 300 individually numbered pieces, though number 7, a nod to Fabian Cancellara’s iconic race number, has already been reserved. The watch is priced at EUR 5,500, approximately AED 23,800.
