The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The New Serica 6190 Chronomètre M.S.L

The independent french brand upgrades its field watch with new designs and colors

Founded in 2019 by Jérôme Burgert and Gabriel Vachette, Serica is a new French brand headquartered in Paris, emerged from a straightforward vision: to revive the golden age of watchmaking by creating highly sophisticated mechanical timepieces. In a relatively short period of time, Serica has developed a distinct design language that bridges the gap between vintage sports watches, elegance, and military inspired aesthetic.

This year, the brand’s field watch receives a significant update with the introduction of the Serica 6190 Chronomètre M.S.L., a military-inspired timepiece available in three different colors. The first Serica Field Watch, known as the W.W.W (Wrist Watch Waterproof), boasted 100m water resistance, a mineral glass, and a hand-wound mechanical calibre. A year later, the Serica W.W.W evolved into the Reference 4512, featuring enhanced case finishes, increased water resistance to 200m, and the addition of a double-domed sapphire crystal. In 2023, the brand introduced the Reference 6190, a thinner automatic chronometer with a completely redesigned case. Now, the 6190 has been revamped and upgraded once again, resulting in the new 6190 Chronomètre M.S.L.

The steel case features a 37.7mm diameter, a thickness of 10.4mm, and a lug-to-lug distance of 46.5mm. It showcases a combination of brushed and polished finishes, with a domed sapphire crystal protecting the dial. The closed case back ensures water resistance up to 200 meters.

The M.S.L model is available in three colorways, enamel black, storm gray, and polar white. This marks the first time Serica has offered the 6190 in white since 2019 and introduces the grey color for the first time. All three models feature applied markers instead of painted ones, and the updated handset now includes a luminous seconds hand.

The primary update to the Reference 6190 when it launched last year was the introduction of an automatic movement, which is still a feature in the new M.S.L version. The timepieces are powered by the COSC-certified Soprod M100, an automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The watch is available with a stainless steel Bonklip bracelet and an optional sport rubber strap, priced at EUR 1,090, equivalent to AED 4,350.
