The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The Indie Brand Armin Strom Releases the One Week Manufacture Edition

Bringing back the one-week power reserve watch once again with an elegant gray hue

Armin Strom is a renowned independent Swiss brand known for its intricate skeleton designs and unique horological creations. Following the launch of the redesigned “One Week” First Edition in 2023, Armin Strom now introduces the One Week Manufacture Edition, the successor to its first-ever manufacture movement. This highly architectural openworked movement, set in a sleek and sporty steel case with an integrated bracelet, is now available in a variety of gray and anthracite tones.

The One Week Manufacture Edition features a 41mm diameter case with a thickness of 10.6mm. Crafted from stainless steel, the case combines a beautiful mix of brushed and polished accents. Both the sapphire crystal and caseback are treated with anti-reflective coating, ensuring clarity for both the dial and movement.

The watch's openworked dial displays many of the movement's elements on the dial side, an instantly recognizable hallmark of Armin Strom timepieces. It features a black minutes ring and a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, both with numbers and indexes filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility. The polished hands also have a Super-LumiNova coating, and the frosted mainplate is coated with anthracite PVD. The dial also showcases two barrels that operate in series to deliver consistent energy levels to the gear train.

At the heart of the watch  is the brand’s manufacture calibre ARM21. This hand-wound movement operates at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz) and boasts an impressive 7-day power reserve, and has a beautiful Côtes de Genève pattern. The watch comes with an integrated stainless steel bracelet, with a double folding clasp. It is limited to 100 pieces and priced at CHF 32,000, equivalent to AED 131,000.
