Bell & Ross is a well-known French watch company founded in 1992 by Bruno Belamich (Bell) and Carlos A. Rosillo (Ross) in Paris, France. The brand specializes in Swiss Made watches designed for professional users, particularly divers and pilots. The company is headquartered in Paris, with manufacturing based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
Through the years, Bell & Ross has earned more acclaim. The BR05 Collection by Bell & Ross, introduced in 2019, embodies the brand's essence with a modern and urban flair. Departing from their signature military and aviation-inspired timepieces, the BR 05 line embraced the new Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Green Steel, a timepiece that combines the brand's luxury sports watch concept with a refreshing green dial.
The new BR 05 Chrono Green Steel captivates with its extraordinary green sunray dial, drawing an immediate connection to the beauty of nature's lush foliage. At its essence, the Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono Green Steel remains faithful to the brand's heritage of blending practicality with elegance. The watch boasts a 42mm wide satin-polished steel case with thickness of 14.25mm and screw-down crown and crown guard, ensuring durability. The square case features a distinctive round aperture, which is secured by functional screws, representing the iconic Bell & Ross design.With a water resistance of up to 100 meters, the BR 05 Chrono Green Steel proves to be a reliable companion for urban explorers seeking adventure and style in equal measure.
On the dial, you'll find applique indices filled with Super-LumiNova, guaranteeing excellent readability even in dim lighting. Alongside the classic hours and minutes, a small seconds sub-dial is positioned at 9 o'clock, and a date function adds practicality to the timepiece at 4:30 o'clock. The chronograph function features a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and central chronograph seconds. In earlier versions, the small seconds were located at 3 o'clock, but in the current model, they are now positioned at 9 o'clock. Additionally, the hour and minute hands are also filled with Super-LumiNova, harmoniously merging form and function in this remarkable timepiece.
In the past, the watch utilized the modular BR-CAL.301 movement, which drew its inspiration from the ETA 2894-2 movement. However, the current version of the timepiece now incorporates the caliber BR-CAL.326. Based on Sellita movement with 60 hour power reserve.
The watch's sporty nature is further accentuated by the satin-polished steel strap with triple folding clasp or with a green rubber strap with buckle-folding clasp, providing a secure and comfortable fit.
