Breitling Showcases Its Latest Movement in the Top Time B31 Editions

Breitling introduces three new editions to its renowned Top Time collection, featuring time-and-date-only displays, marking a departure from the collection’s traditional focus on modern chronographs. Originally launched in the 1960s, this sporty timepiece was a significant success for the brand.

As one of the first chronograph watches designed for both men and women, the Top Time now takes a new direction with an innovative design powered by an entirely new movement, the B31 caliber.

Introducing Parmigiani Fleurier Launches the New Toric Quantième Perpétuel

After its revival last year, the Toric collection returns with a perpetual calendar complication

Founded in 1996 by skilled watchmaker and Val-de-Travers School of Watchmaking graduate Michel Parmigiani, Parmigiani Fleurier is renowned for combining traditional Swiss craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Over the years, the brand has built a reputation for creating refined, highly complicated watches that celebrate mechanical purity and timeless design. In 2024, the Toric Collection underwent a major revival, redefining modern masculine elegance with its subtle yet bold aesthetic. Building on this momentum, and as part of its participation in W&W 2025, Parmigiani Fleurier introduces the Toric Quantième Perpétuel, an extraordinary interpretation of the perpetual calendar complication, offered in two limited editions.

The watch is presented in two precious materials: 18K rose gold and 950 platinum. Both versions feature a case measuring 42.5 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm in thickness, with a beautifully knurled bezel. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which also covers the caseback, ensuring water resistance to 30 meters.

The dial is carefully designed to prioritize clarity, available in Golden Hour for the rose gold variant and Morning Blue for the platinum version. Essential calendar information is displayed through an ingenious coaxial layout: the day and date are indicated by a counter at 4 o’clock, while the month and leap year are shown by a second counter at 8 o’clock. This intuitive setup leaves the central space open for the fundamental hour and minute functions, along with Parmigiani Fleurier’s signature emblem. Three correctors subtly integrated into the case sides allow for easy adjustment of the calendar displays.

The watch is powered by the Caliber PF733 manufacture movement, crafted from 18K rose gold. The automatic movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 48-hour power reserve. Each watch comes with a grey hand-stitched nubuck alligator leather strap, secured by a pin buckle that matches the case material.

Both variants are limited to just 50 pieces each. The rose gold version is priced at CHF 85,000, approximately AED 362,300, while the platinum variant is priced at CHF 92,000, approximately AED 392,200.
