Celebrating 60 Years Since the Release of the First Watch in the Series
In 1965, Oris introduced its first dedicated diving watch, the Divers 65, marking a significant milestone in the brand's history. The watch’s innovative design combined elegance and practicality, quickly becoming a favorite among divers and sports enthusiasts. It was a pioneering timepiece, capable of meeting the demands of underwater exploration while maintaining the classic aesthetic that is synonymous with Oris.
Fifty years later, in 2015, Oris celebrated the 50th anniversary of this iconic watch with a special edition. Now, in 2025, Oris commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Divers 65 with new release "60th Anniversary Edition", further cementing its legacy in the world of diving watches. The new edition pays tribute to the watch’s rich history, blending innovation with respect for its roots, ensuring that the Divers 65 remains an integral part of Oris' heritage.
The watch comes in a robust multi-piece stainless steel case, designed for durability and style. With a 40.00 mm diameter and a thickness of 12.80 mm, the case provides a perfect balance between comfort and presence on the wrist. The bi-directional rotating black bezel adds functionality, while the sapphire crystal, domed on both sides and coated with an anti-reflective layer, ensures clarity and scratch resistance. The case back is made of stainless steel, featuring special engravings and securely screwed for added water resistance of up to 100 meters, making it ideal for both everyday wear and light diving.
The watch features a striking black dial with heritage-inspired detailing, paying homage to its iconic design roots. The dial is equipped with indices and numerals printed with SuperLumiNova, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The hour, minute, and central seconds hands, along with the distinctive "lollipop" central seconds hand, are also filled with SuperLumiNova for enhanced visibility. Surrounding the hands, a white printed minute track forms a subtle ring, adding to the dial’s elegant and functional design while maintaining the watch's classic appeal.
The watch is powered by the Oris 733 movement, which features a stop-second mechanism for precise time setting. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), the movement offers a reliable performance and ensures accuracy, and offers power reserve of 38 hours.
It comes with a multi-piece stainless steel metal bracelet with folding clasp, supplied with additional black leather strap with stainless steel buckle, and priced at CHF 2,250 approximately AED 9,900.
