Introducing Ice Blue Breitling’s First Non-Limited Navitimer with the B19 Caliber

Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar in a Stainless Steel Case

Breitling has unveiled a significant addition to its iconic Navitimer collection: the Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar. This release marks a milestone for the brand, introducing its first-ever perpetual calendar chronograph movement, the Caliber B19, into a non-limited edition Navitimer.

The impressive movement was first featured in a trio of golden limited editions celebrating the maison’s 140th anniversary. This was a major step for Breitling, and now, with the introduction of the Caliber B19 in a regular production model, the brand makes this exceptional movement more accessible to a wider audience of watch enthusiasts.

The new Navitimer B19 seamlessly combines a chronograph and a perpetual calendar within a 43mm stainless steel case, maintaining the same diameter as the previous gold edition but with a slightly reduced thickness of 14.94mm (compared to 15.6mm in the anniversary model). Breitling has crafted the rotating slide rule bezel in platinum, creating an elegant contrast against the ice-blue dial.

The watch’s sapphire crystal case back showcases the Caliber B19 in full view. It features a 30-meter water resistance, with a non-screw-locked crown fitted with two gaskets. The cambered sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides for enhanced legibility.

The ice-blue dial boasts a radiating sunburst finish, complemented by circular-grained sub-dials with matte-finished rims. The moon phase indicator at 12 o’clock features a deep blue sky, adding to the visual appeal.

Functionally, the date indicator sits on the outer track at 3 o’clock, with a 30-minute chronograph counter inside. The month and leap year indicator appear at 6 o’clock, while the day display is on the outer track at 9 o’clock, with the small seconds subdial positioned within.

Powering the watch is Breitling’s first-ever perpetual calendar movement, initially introduced during the brand’s 140th-anniversary celebrations. A key difference in this version is that its rotor is no longer made of 22K gold. The Caliber B19 stands out with its full calendar, moon phase complication, and an impressive 96-hour power reserve, operating at a 4 Hz frequency. It is COSC-certified for precision and features a column-wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch mechanism.

The watch is available on a stainless steel seven-row bracelet with a butterfly clasp or a black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel folding buckle. Pricing is set at AED 108,400 (approximately USD 29,500) for the bracelet edition and AED 106,500 (approximately USD 29,000) for the leather strap version.
