The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Gerald Genta is one of the most iconic names in the luxury watch industry. Since its founding in 1969, the brand has introduced numerous timepieces that have become legends in the world of horology, including the “Only Watch 2023”, featuring a playful Mickey Mouse motif that showcases Gerald Genta’s ability to incorporate cultural icons into luxury timepieces. The brand continues to offer exceptional artistic editions, drawing inspiration from various icons and reflecting its commitment to blending innovation with elegance. Among the latest artistic releases, Gerald Genta introduced the “Gentissima Oursin” this year, directly inspired by the shape of the sea urchin.

The Oursin watch features a diameter 36.5mm, and thickness 9.6mm, yellow gold case, elegantly finished with a frosted glass-blasted texture, (glass beads are sprayed under pressure onto the surface). Its bold, rounded bezel is adorned with 137 fire opals, each securely attached with yellow gold pins that protrude slightly from the stones. The crown is set with a matching fire opal and accented with eight rounded gold studs, echoing the design of the opal-secured pins. This stunning timepiece also boasts a sapphire crystal with eight facets and a flat top, offering a water resistance of 30 meters.

The dial of the watch features a vibrant orange carnelian surface, complemented by yellow gold indices and hour and minute hands with luminescent inlays for enhanced readability.

The watch is powered by the Calibre GG-005 automatic movement, Based on the Zenith Elite, offering a reliable power reserve of 50 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). With 126 components, this movement ensures precision and smooth performance.

It comes with a Black alligator leather strap, and glass-blasted yellow gold with polished yellow gold beads buckle. This watch is a limited edition, and the price is upon request.
