The New Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in Steel

This year has been an exciting one for Jaeger-LeCoultre, especially after our enlightening visit to the "Precision Pioneer" exhibition at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). The exhibition beautifully showcased the brand's rich history, spotlighting its contributions to the world of horology. One of the most captivating releases we encountered was the stunning Master Grande Tradition Caliber 948 World-Timer

But the excitement didn’t end there. Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to push the boundaries in 2024, introducing the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon in steel. This follows the 18k pink gold model that debuted at Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2023, adding a fresh new chapter to the iconic Reverso lineup.

News Geneva Watch Days 2024

Your ultimate guide to the events and activities of the fifth edition of the exhibition

Since its launch in 2020, Geneva Watch Days has become a significant event in the watch industry's calendar as it continues to grow and welcome more brands and visitors every year. The fifth edition of the exhibition will be at the end of next August. This will be the third largest exhibition this year, as we started the year 2024 with the LVMH Watch Week, followed in April by the well-known exhibition Watches and Wonders.

The Fifth Geneva Watch Days in 2024 will run from Thursday, August 29th, to Monday, September 2nd, at the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc Pavilion on Lake Geneva, as well as at various boutiques and venues throughout the city. This edition promises to be the largest yet, featuring 53 brands.

A press conference and the official inauguration, in partnership with the State and City of Geneva, will kick off the festivities on Thursday, August 29th. From Friday, August 30th, the Pavilion will open to the public daily until Monday, September 2nd. Visitors can explore the latest novelties from the participating brands, all arranged by theme. Free guided tours will be available every afternoon for those interested in gaining additional insight into the world of fine watches.

Geneva Watch Days was founded in 2020 by six watch brands: Breitling, Bvlgari, De Bethune, Girard-Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie., and MB&F. The event is based on a modern and unconventional philosophy that emphasizes straightforward cooperation. It is a self-managed organization that is light, flexible, and agile, providing a common space to showcase the latest developments in watchmaking while allowing participating brands to host decentralized activities.

Held in partnership with the State and the City of Geneva, and with the support of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), the gathering is open to the public while catering to industry professionals, including retailers and media.

The 2024 edition will feature more brands than ever before, and the main Pavilion will have a new wing dedicated to the fair’s “cultural partners” – the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), Ecole d’Horlogerie de Genève, Horopedia, and The Watch Library – called the “Culture Club,” which will focus on watch education.

Additionally, a "24 Hours in Zurich" event will be part of this year’s Geneva Watch Days, with 520 media representatives and watch enthusiasts invited to interact with 31 representatives from both established and new brands, conduct interviews with CEOs, and experience the warm and energetic atmosphere that defines the event.

Experts from the watch world will share their visions on various topics in panels open to the public. These will take place at the new Glass Box next to the Pavilion at the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc. More activities, such as breakfasts, brunches, and press conferences, will be announced soon.

Last year, CHF 110,000 was raised through a charity auction organized by Geneva Watch Days and Phillips in collaboration with Bacs & Russo on August 30, 2023. The proceeds were used to establish the “Pierre Amstutz Fund” in memory of the former Director of the Geneva Watchmaking School – a non-profit organization aimed at supporting students in need, enabling them to complete their training in better conditions. This initiative marks the industry’s solidarity and determination to preserve its expertise. Plans are underway for a new auction in 2024. Geneva Watch Days 2024 is free to attend for the public, press, and retailers.
