Featuring a Green Dial and World-Time Functionality in Rose Gold or Steel
Frederique Constant was founded in 1988 in Switzerland and is known for offering high-quality watches at competitive prices. The company employs advanced techniques in manufacturing its timepieces, focusing on complications such as chronographs and calendars, while using premium materials for its dials and cases, as seen in the "Classic Day-Date Moonphase" watch. Now, the brand presents its latest releases from the Manufacture Classic collection, the "Worldtimer" watch, which is available in two case types.
The watch is available in either 18k rose gold or stainless steel, embodying a classic and elegant design. It comes in a 42mm case with a thickness of 12.15mm, complemented by a polished bezel. The traditional touch is provided by the onion crown. Additionally, the dial and movement are protected by a sapphire crystal, ensuring water resistance up to 30 meters.
The most distinctive feature of this version of the Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture is its exceptionally eye-catching forest green dial. This color serves as a sophisticated backdrop for the intricate layers of the watch. The central, serrated-edged dial is subtly elevated above the surrounding 24-hour ring and city ring, which include red accents and display a finely engraved world map in a deep sunray pattern. The date subdial at 6 o’clock adds to this complexity, with a gold hand on the gold-case version and a silver hand on the steel-case version, both showcasing a radial guilloché pattern and additional sunray accents. Clear alpha hands and hour indices are presented in gold on the gold-case version and silver on the steel-case version are coated with Super-Luminova, all surrounded by a white printed minute track.
The watch is powered by the in-house Caliber FC-718 movement. This automatic movement operates at a smooth 28,800 vph (4Hz), and a 38 hour power reserve. The sapphire caseback showcases the movement’s exquisite craftsmanship, featuring Côtes de Genève decoration and an openworked rose gold rotor with the brand's name.
Both versions come with a forest green alligator leather strap, accentuated by elegant white contrast stitching, secured with a folding buckle. The rose gold cased version is limited to just 36 pieces, priced at CHF 18,995 (AED 83,580), while the stainless steel version is limited to 718 pieces, available for CHF 4,395.00 (AED 19,340).
