Introducing Doxa Unveils the New SUB 250T GMT

The Swiss brand Doxa is renowned for pioneering dive watch technology since the 1960s and has long been a symbol of rugged reliability beneath the waves. Doxa made its name with the original SUB 300T, one of the first purpose-built dive watches for the public. Now, after nearly two decades, Doxa brings the beloved GMT function back into its lineup with the all-new SUB 250T GMT.

Following the success of the 39mm SUB 200T, the new SUB 250T GMT offers a slightly larger case and a world of new possibilities for frequent travelers and diving enthusiasts alike, and smaller than the 45mm case of the previous 750T GMT that goes back to 2006. The new SUB 250T GMT comes in a 40mm stainless steel case, featuring the classic "no decompression" bezel. The case measures just 10.85mm in thickness, paired with a compact 42.9mm lug-to-lug distance, ensuring it sits easily on a wide range of wrist sizes. The watch is rated for 250 meters of water resistance, in keeping with Doxa’s reputation for building rugged dive watches.

The watch is offered in nine variations. Eight models span the brand’s signature colorways, including Professional (orange), Sharkhunter (black), Caribbean (blue), Divingstar (yellow), Searambler (silver), Aquamarine (turquoise), Whitepearl (white), and the Sea Emerald (green) unveiled last year.

However, one standout is the new "Sharkhunter Vintage" edition, which introduces a first for Doxa: a gradient brown dial paired with faux-aged lume, all-white hands, and a red-tipped arrow GMT hand unlike the other models that feature skeletonized minute hands. Across the board, the GMT functionality is cleanly integrated, with a 24-hour scale positioned along the flange, and a date window at 3 o'clock.

The watch is powered by the Sellita SW330-2, an automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 50-hour power reserve. You can opt for a classic stainless steel "beads of rice" bracelet or a color-matched FKM rubber strap. The watch joins the brand’s permanent collection and is priced at CHF 2,390, equivalent to AED 10,450 for the bracelet version, and CHF 2,350, equivalent to AED 10,250 for the strap version.
