The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Czapek Unveils The Quai des Bergues Desert Edition

Limited edition timepiece in collaboration with Mansour Jewellers & calligrapher Wissam Shawkat

Czapek is a distinguished Swiss independent brand with a rich history dating back to 1845 when it was founded by François Czapek in Geneva. In 2015, a group of watch enthusiasts revived the brand, launching the "Quai des Bergues" collection, inspired by the 1850s pocket watch Ref. 3430, notable for its unique subdial arrangement. Last year, the brand introduced a stunning duo featuring a new Guilloché pattern in blue and black.

Now, the brand is unveiling the “Quai des Bergues desert edition”, a limited edition release in collaboration with Mansour Jewellers, its exclusive agent in the United Arab Emirates. This edition features colors that beautifully capture the essence of the UAE desert. The watch features a stainless steel case and a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on the inner surface of both the top and caseback. It is available in two sizes: 38.5mm, limited to 20 pieces, and 42.5mm, limited to 10 pieces.

The dial takes center stage with its beautiful sand-colored hue, inspired by the captivating desert of the United Arab Emirates. It showcases a striking pattern, Eastern Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, a power reserve sub-dial with weekdays in Arabic at 4:30, and a small seconds subdial at 7:30, also with Eastern Arabic numerals. The design of the numbers and days of the week on the dial are by the distinguished Iraqi calligrapher and artist Wissam Shawkat.

Both variants are powered by calibre SHX1, a hand-wound movement made in collaboration with Chronode operating at 21,600 vph with a 7 days (168-hour) power reserve. The watch comes with a blue alligator leather strap featuring a stainless steel pin buckle, and each size is priced at AED 88,400.
